DESCRIPTION:The monthly ROMEO meetings are held every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 9 am. \nThe 1st BBCA ROMEO Club introductory meeting was held on 23 April 2023 at Chloez’s\, chloezcafe.com\, 5622 Ox Rd Unit F\, Fairfax Station\, VA 22039. We make every effort to meet at different locations to take advantage of\, and support\, our local eateries. BBCA retirees\, do join us for interesting breakfasts – and conversations! \nWho are the ROMEOs? \nWe eat out\, have fun\, make and keep friends\, and are not bound by rules; that is\, no causes\, no specific membership restrictions except Retired “Old” Men Eating Out and talking. Our past meetings have touched on various subjects related to Ukraine\, Russia\, Fairfax Sr. Center\, hiking the Sierra and Appalachian Trails\, and downsizing. ROMEOS in other neighborhoods have their own schedules\, meeting for breakfast or lunch or dinner once a week\, or once a month\, or whatever works for their group. Some are composed of people with similar interests or similar past professions\, but most reflect the great mosaic that is the retired men’s community.
